Alicia and I carved pumpkins last night. I meant to take lots of pictures. I took two. I will say that I did save the seeds and am trying to make pepitas from those. If they turn out I will post pictures of that. We each chose a famous person to portray on our pumpkin. Can you tell from the first picture who they are?

That's right Jesus and Ariel! For the record the fact that Jesus looks like Jesus is a miracle. Because this was the pattern.
You tell me how Jesus' second eye works on that pattern, or how if you cut out the outline of his head you would have a big hole. We improvised and we saved Jesus.
This is one of those patterns that you don't completely cut out. you cut out the white parts and the dark parts you shave the pumpkin to make a secondary layer (color) when the candle is lit.
